Hi Matt,
Thank you for sharing this video with us.
I just have one question… how long do you think it would take to get a trim stomach. I know it depends on have much fat you have and what you eat, but I’m a vegetarian and I don’t consume milk though I do like soy milk.
I’m 117 lb. woman and 5’6. I run a lot and I used to only do crunches until I saw this video. Think you can help me out?

You are so hot :D
Thank you for these exercises, I’ve been doing 300 sit-ups[which include 20 different types of sit-ups] everyday for the past month and I can’t believe how close to 6 pack I am[I've already been skinny though when I started]. Most of your exercises are already in my program, but I’ll add the ones that are not in there too so thanks again.

Great video, But I have a question, slightly off topic, Between running and walking, which one would be better? and how far would you have to go to make a difference? Thanks for the video ^-^

Well I’ve been searching for some sort of workout here and I’ve come across yours. I have a 34 waist and i want to fit into a 30 and no less. Will these exercises do the trick to accomplish my goal?? I’ll be actually going home for a visit in 3 weeks and would really like to look good!! Hope to hear from ya soon.

Many ab exercises will strengthen your core, but it won’t melt the fat above you muscles. That’s where you’re diet come in to play. Eating right will burn fat, while exercising will strengthen your muscles. You can’t try it for a week or so and complain that it doesn’t work. You have to be devoted and keep on it for at least two months. You should see reselt around your waist, or on the scale by the second week.

You seem like a nice guy :) I’ll try these, thanks. :)

Very very true, however genetically humans tend to store fat in their abdominal area first. In nature Fat on the arms would hinder us physically, but storing the fat over the strongest body part (the legs) is most common. Therefor we can focus the attention to the abs to really burn the fat everywhere, as this is our core strength and is great for overall caloric burning along with leg exercises.

@ssviper91 you cant target a area for fat loss you have to decrease your overall body fat percentage to lose any there.

Hey Matt, It was about 3 months ago when I first started doing this every other day. I loved these exercises, but eventually they got to easy so I switched over to the “Ab Ripper X” Now today for a 14 year old girl, I have rock hard abs and you can see them at the top! I am amazed that for one I actually set my mind to something and without your amazing video to help me persevere, I don’t know where I would be now! Thanks so much and anyone that doubts your workouts is a crazy person! :P

These wouldn’t do much at all for a beer gut. They will make your abs/core stronger underneath your fat but they will not get rid of the fat layers. I would suggest minimizing the beer and changing your diet up and incorporating some weight and cardio training. Intensify your workouts once you get proper technique down and really knock that fat off. Once you lose the belly fat then you will start seeing your abs.

ssviper91 July 28, 2010 at 6:11 pm

oh and how do u lose fat of your face like under the chin?

ssviper91 July 28, 2010 at 6:22 pm

hay matt awsome tatts btw.anyways will those work on getting rid of a beer gut to?

alanaR504 July 28, 2010 at 7:30 pm

Muhneds July 28, 2010 at 7:46 pm

Aerobics are great – it’s essential for a healthy heart and burning fat that covers up muscle tone.

I recommend shorter bursts of intense training (circuit or Tabata training), about 20-45 minutes, 5 days per week. This burns fat more effectively and is not as stressful on the body as endurance training. Check out BodyRock (dot) tv for some great free circuit training workouts.

RealRawMatt July 28, 2010 at 8:43 pm

You can definitely start these exercises now. They will help burn calories and make your abdominal muscles stronger and more prominent so that when you lose that last bit of belly fat, your abs will look great.

pickels201 July 28, 2010 at 9:43 pm
