Hi Vic, in regards to your diet, what about off-season or when you are wanting to gain some muscle. Do you count calories?
and do you take protein in the form of whey/shakes or just food? Thanks
Hey Vic, Thanks a lot. You are the greatest instructor. I am a Filipino, 23 and its kinda hard for me to gain weight and to get my body buffed. But youre videos teach me a wonderful workouts. I will upload my Body Transformation in two weeks. I know all the lesson that ive got from you is very powerful. And i believe in 2 weeks i will have my BIGGER CHEST. Can i get a list of full chest routine? Thanks a lot !
Eating 3 times a day is the way to go, it’s more convenient and I have built muscle and lost fat on only 3 meals and occasionally I’d skip a meal and I got in great shape with only 2-3 weight training workouts a week and no cardio! lol If your the average person looking to get in shape stop obsessing and preparing 6 small meals a day “to keep your metabolism burning fat” (BS) the fat burning effect from eating 6 meals as opposed to 3 is not worth talking about!
i cant belive you only eat 3 meals. i hear bodybuilders eat like 5 to 10 meals. but i heard this one guy named steve turano sayin you dont need to eat excessively to get big. jus like you. but everyone elsse says you need to pick up the calories inorder to get big. so whas the truth can you tell me. sorry if im botherin you but im lost with this. bodybuilding is very confusing. everyone has there own theories
vic what do u think about the mentzer hit traing, doing 1 working set for each body part, maybe chest and back one day and only traing every 4-5 days to get full recovery.

I really don’t eat that much- I get protein in cottage cheese, some grilled chicken at lunch and some at dinner- lentils, but that’s it- I eat 3 times a day. I don’t care what the books say- I think you need as much carbs as protein- whole grains, low fat foods like chicken fish and cottage cheese, and veggies and fruits- Balanced diet works- I don’t buy the protein hype- If you are a stable eater- you can do it without making yourself sick with protein- PEACE, VIC
yes- cut and deep- thick- that’s what I dig. I never wanted a washboard- I wanted a ski moguls- anyway- weighted exercises, treat them like biceps- pump- less reps more weighted should pronounce- the abs- like any other – instead of doing 100 reps without weight do 50 with a slight weight. Vic

Hey Vic, really nice videos. I have a question for you. I have been bulking for a while now. But, I have noticed my belly is getting bigger as well. I have changed my diet and my fat and sugar intake has become low. If I start doing cardio, I start to lose muscle. I am a hard gainer btw. Is Cardio the only way I can lose the belly? Or Is there a way I can bulk and cut at the same time?

how different should i train my abs if i want some really deep and cut abs… instead of a normal tonned sixpack?..
can this be done without bulikg up?… im 5-11, 160lbs i would like to stay around there…

Ah Man- here we call them forgotten pecs- I mean as far as fat is concerned generally, the same rules apply for reducing fat- cardio, good eats, and muscular development- that is all we have- there is no specific recipe for handling certain areas other than the usual. This is really all we have – the basic principles. Once those are all exhausted, then we figure out plan B. But, I don’t know anyone who has exhausted all these concepts. Vic

I’ve pretty much cut out sugar and sweets and I’ll tell ya, I have noticed a difference on how my clothes fit me. Like he said…cut out things little by little and you’ll notice a difference.
