I work out about 3X a week.. I am comfortable with my body weight but can’t seem to get rid off those extra inches around my waist.. If you know of some good workout routines to target this area please advise..

sit ups and ab work outs that target that area, just research what to do and do them the recommended amount & you should be good to go good luck!

Diet is 90% of weight loss.

If you exercise, and don’t supplement the energy used to exercise, with food; your body will store fat, not build muscle.

So, if you have been exercising for a long time and still notice some fat on your body, it is because you do not eat enough. (Or obviously you eat too much)

dancing!! Turn on some of your favourite music and dance!.. but don’t just jump around like a fool, make sure to work your hips etc. Works for me! I dont do a single sit up and have have defnied, flat abs.
Try pilates too!

I have some bad news for you: such routines don’t exist. Where you store fat is probably genetic; you can only increase/decrease total body fat, and you will lose it from some places before others. You can add/increase strength training to build muscle, which is more metabolically active than other types of tissue and will help you decrease your overall body fat. Anyone who tells you a certain routine will target a certain area is, unfortunately, lying.

You can’t target area weight loss. You need more cardio plain and simple. Your 3x/wk workout should be at least 45 minutes or more of non-stop cardio.
