Im starting to get serious about working out. I would like to know the most effective way to workout. Ive heard many different things like I should work bicepts and tricepts in the same session and then ive heard i should work chest and tricepts….whats the best and most effective workout routine in a 6 or 7 day period for someone who wants to build muscle?
I would like to know what the best workout routine is….?

Everybody is a little different. You kind of just have to try stuff and see. Some people work the whole arm in the same day and the whole chest in another day while others will work push muscles (chest, triceps, quads) one day and pull muscles (back, biceps, hamstrings) another day. I’ll do it one way for about 6 months and then another way for another 6 months. At a certain point you will reach a plateau where you won’t be gaining muscle. You have to switch up your routine to trick your muscles so they won’t get too used to the workout. You also need some kind of break between workouts. Give each body part at least 2 or 3 days to heal before working it again. I run a mile (I hate running) to get my heart rate up and a good sweat going. Then I lift a group of muscles (arms, chest, legs, back), one group per day for 4 days a week.
