Is this a good workout daily routine to help lose weight and look good?

by Workout Fiend on February 8, 2010

I’ll do this everyday. Then, when I get to a desired level (good weight), I’ll do it maybe every other day:

-Tread climber for 30 minutes to 1 hour a day
-10-15 minute run outside
-10 pushups every hour for, say, 8 hours a day (so 80 pushups total a day, or every weekday)
-Lunges regularly
-3 sets of 10 reps on bench press
-Other weight exercises for the same length (3 sets, 10 reps)

Eat healthy too.
Its 10 pushups every hour. So, for example, 10 pushups at 2:00pm. Then, at 3:00pm, do another 10 pushups. And so on…

First of all, Weight Loss is 20% exercise and 80% proper diet. Even vigorous exercise alone is not sufficient for healthy, effective weight loss. A nutritious, balanced diet is the major player in attaining a healthy weight, safely.

Secondly, what is your definition of losing weight and looking good? How many pounds do you want to lose? What is your calorie intake versus the calories you will be burning with above routine? You need to have above answers and then change your diet-exercise regimen accordingly.

Thats too much. you will have a higher chance of injuring yourself and if you do that you get out of shape. i know someone who worked out too much and she is no just bones, its not pretty. but no matter wat she eats she cant gain any weight because her metobolism is so fast from working out so much.
God bless

“-10 pushups every hour for, say, 8 hours a day (so 80 pushups total a day, or every weekday)” Does not sound realistic. How are you going to do that straight for 8 hours??
