What is a good workout routine (for gym) for a high school girls varsity soccer goalie?

I’m very petite
I’m not strong at all
109 lbs 5′ 6”
You probably think I make a crappy goalie, but the truth is I have GREAT reflexes and agility, but my coach thinks I need to work on my core

oh yes the core is very important i tried goalie on year and picked it up rather quickly and i always remember my abs hurting a little… you can do planks, side crunches, supermans ( lay on stomach and lift up ) or get a partner have them hold your legs and with a straight body go down as far as you can without bending and not falling and go back up. also with a partner get a medicine ball and do medicine ball throws.

core is a HUGE factor in goal keeping. im a sophomore at my high school and i play varsity keep as well. um also try leg extensions, its a huge help on your punts and goal kicks. core has to be the most important tho. core work helps you get up quicker after you block a shot. keepers need that. a lot. plus having that six pack for spring break is awesome. lol. i’ve trained for two years technique and quickness. look for a local “keepers” training facility, they’re awesome help. dont forget about your leg power tho, ya gotta be able to get some ups for those high upper 90 shots. im 5’4″ 120 pounds… shouldn’t difficult for you at all.
