Hi! My personal experience is to do cardio before (i do the bike for 20 mins) which will get your heart rate up and prepare your muscles for the weights you do with the machine. I am in Human Kinetics at University right now, so this kind of thing we do in labs, and that is the way our professors tell us to warm up. If you want, a short 10-15 minute cool-down cardio session after your weights would be beneficial as well to simply cool down your muscles after doing all the weights. Hope this helps! AND don’t forget to stretch!!!
There is no right or wrong here- do what works for YOU. Some people find if they do cardio first (more than 20 minutes though) they aren’t as productive in their weight training because they have less energy. Personally, it’s the opposite for me. I do 50-60 minutes of cardio first and then hit the weights. I find it keeps my heart rate up and my energy is through the roof! You gotta find what is best for you as we are all different.
