I can all day and not put on any weight. i dnt have a routine but eat when i get hungry. I am really skinny. Is there a diet i can go on to put on weight and get a muscular body. when i workout, i just look like bone with muscle. But i want to be bigger with muscle. So how can i do this, what diet should i go on, what type of food should i have and preferably without protein shakes?
I’m looking for help developing a workout routine and diet in which I WON’T lose weight. Targeting midsection.?
February 10th, 2010I have a smaller build and do NOT want to lose weight. However, I have a very large stomach (the only place I gain weight) that I want to work on reducing, as well as gaining some definition throughout my body. I don’t want to do too much cardio because I feel I will lose weight. Is there a way to target my stomach and gain definition without doing cardio, or is it necessary to do cardio, but load up on foods (proteins) that will keep my weight up?
How can I start a daily jogging routine and lose weight?
February 10th, 2010I don’t really like doing workout videos bcuz some are too easy, and some are too confusing. So i decided that i should start jogging. What part of your body does joggiong work out? And how can i become a good runner? my mile was 8 minutes and 20 seconds. is that good for a 13 year old who is out of shape? (5′3,129 pounds.) I just want to be able to get my speed a little bit faster and i want to lose weight.
Which is more effective in weight loss and/or muscle toning during a workout session:?
February 10th, 2010I am a pretty healthy 27 yr old 5′4″ 133 lb. female. I try to change up my workout routines pretty frequently, for instance pilates one day, aerobics another, yoga another and weight/ cardio combos on others.
During my weight/ cardio days this is my schedule:
-cardio 20 mins. (either eliptical, stairsmaster, bicycle, or treadmill)
-upper body weight training 20 mins.(various Nautilus machines)
-cardio 10-15 mins.(either eliptical, stairsmaster, bicycle, or treadmill)
-lower body weight training 20 mins.(various Nautilus machines)
-cardio 10-15 mins. (either eliptical, stairsmaster, bicycle, or treadmill)
-abs occasionally for 10 mins. (pilates & yoga take care of that area ?)
Now, what i’m curious to know is, do you think it is better or more effective to focus on one muscle group each workout session? Is the full body not as effective, more effective, or does it really make a difference?
what is the best breakfast for losing weight?
February 10th, 2010im trying to lose as much weight as i can before june 1st. my goal is 30lbs and i think i can do it. so far ive cut out all drinks, alcohol and non, and only drink water. except milk that’s in my cereal and its skim, i eat Fiber One with nut clusters, and it tastes to good to be healthy!. i only eat 1 serving size, i weigh it on a scale, or measure accordingly. i cut out cheese. i will only eat one serving of wheat bread per day with turkey and mustard. dinner will be a grilled chicken breast and veggies, with proper portion sizes. i eat one Multi vitamin a day after bfast and work out doing push ups and stomach exercises every Morning and night (its like a 10 minute routine). regular routine workouts at the gym 3 days a week and i started cycling and will do my best to get as far as i can, its tuff!! im gonna try and cycle 3 times a week as well! Is this a good plan to fallow? any info appreciated! thanks…
Is this enough of a workout to lose weight?
February 10th, 2010I am 29, 5′3, and weight 140. I want to get back down below 120. My diet is great, but I was really irresponsible while I was pregnant and gained a lot of weight (baby is now 18m). I have a workout routine I have been on for about a week now with a friend, and was wondering if this would be enough exercise to lose the weight, and about how long until I should see some results. And if it is not, please tell me what I’ll need to do as well. I only have an hour each day at the gym, since I bring the baby and that’s all I’m allowed to leave her for. Thanks so much!
1 mile on the eliptical, 1.5 mile on the treadmill (3-3.5mph 1.5 incline) and 2 miles on the bike.
I actually think I’ve lost a little weight already, but don’t want to weigh myself again until I have been doing this for a month.
