March 10th, 2010Hi, recently i’ve been trying to get into shape. Ive been trying different exercise routines, and didnt like any of them, until i decided to give a shot at a women’s aerobics video. I really enjoyed the workout and felt energized and have been doing a lot of it, high impact women’s aerobics. The only thing is im now interested in buying the right clothing. I dont really care for mens sports apparel, and i also want to feel like im wearing the clothes that fit into the workout im doing (it is women’s aerobics after all). I like the look of the clothes too. Are there any women out there who could point me in the right direction as to wear to buy these clothes. What are some of my options? what fabrics are good? what about shoes? what brands are best and what style of clothes are best. also would there be negative impacts of me wearing these clothes (yes i do live alone so no one would see me.) thanks for your help
Women’s toning exercise program question?
February 8th, 2010OK I have a few questions about exercising, I’m not trying to lose weight, I am slender already & have been going to the gym for a while but I’ve kind of lost track of my old routine.
Is it better to work diff. muscle groups once a week (arms & back one day legs the next or whatever)?
Or is it better to do a little of each every day or any other combo?
When you go to a full body workout class (I go to bodypump two times a week and pilates once) what should you count that as and how do you work this into your routine, this is what is throwing me off.
Should you work abs daily, this is what i have always heard?
AND one more, haha, how much cardio should you do and how many times a week? i love running so i love doing cardio.
